So the holiday hoopla
is over……well at least for the next 3 weeks and if you’re not shopping on your
time off, you are probably trying to find something new and exciting to do. So
ladies I got your weekend plans covered!
Food
No more turkey, no more ham, no more roast beef, no more
spam! If you haven’t already ditched the holiday food shame on you (lol), to
each his/her own. I on the flip side stopped eating thanksgiving food on
Thanksgiving Day; it’s just something about me and left overs …WE DON'T MIX. So I decided to switch things up a bit! I revisited Bones, a great restaurant I
went to some years back.
The online menu looks a tad different but the memories
were still the same. The food is dynamic and Bones is the ultimate place for a
date night. When I last visited it was for a friend’s birthday so we made it a LNO! This place really works for any occasion if you’re looking for some good food to be shared over good
conversations and much laughter. The atmosphere is fancy, quite, and a flare of sexy; It’s the kind of place that makes you want
to put on that dress and pull out those 6inches!
I love a good steak and from the looks of things the dry aged bone in Rib-Eye with the seabreeze baked potato and steamed asparagus just sounds dynamic to me. Nothing like a good piece of red meat! However if red isn't your thing, they have an extensive seafood menu as well as salads and quite the appetizer selection. Check out the site below and plan your date night accordingly!

Fun & Adventurous
Christmas Cocktails & Cupcakes sounds like a fun event to try
out this Friday night from 9-11. Zerogravity Concept Salon will be hosting a
social gathering complete with food, music, art, and drinks and it’s all FREE,
oh and with FREE you also get a gift bag as well! This is definitely something new
and exciting to try out in an effort to kick off your holiday season the right way!
For all my entrepreneurs out there, Chevon Hines Enterprises will
be hosting The Entrepreneur Holiday Connect this Thursday night at 200
Peachtree Street. General admission is $10 w/ a donation of can food items or
toys. This event is designed so that us business men and women could come
together and connect!
Empowerment
As always I am an advocate for fun and hard work but it all needs to be balanced with some quality time with the Father. I recommend Free Chapel, located in Gainesville, GA however they have a live stream you can enjoy from anywhere. If Free Chapel does not interest you, YouTube some sermons, visit your local church, or tune into a pastor on TV, just make sure you GET IT IN!
