Your Weekend Plans Have Arrived

Well its November ladies, so what do you have planned for your weekend?  Single ladies and those who are taken check out my findings to give you a few options.

Food
I’ve been in the mood for a good Sunday brunch. I am in love with Murphy’s, Canoe, and even Copland’s but sometimes a girl wants to experience something new, so I started searching. I came across Goin’ Coastal online and that name rung a bell. Then it hit me, I was invited there sometime last year and I can’t remember what happened, long story short: I never made it! Nevertheless that invite was for dinner but as of September this year they decided to open their doors for a Saturday and Sunday Brunch, YUMMY. The menu looks exquisite offering: seafood benedicts that can be prepared a variety of ways, even naming  one after the  “Atlanta” area…..according to the menu it includes, a poached egg w/ Coca-Cola, glazed ham, and hollandaise over a buttermilk biscuit…..if that doesn’t scream Southern Comfort!  In addition to that they offer stuffed French toast, steak and eggs, salads, sandwiches & burgers, shrimp, grits, and more. Can you say I'm there! Check out the full menu on the link below and call up that girlfriend you haven’t talked to in a while for a catch up session over brunch!

Fun & Adventurous
Calling all fashionistas! Join the Fall “Total Swap Party” happening this Saturday from 6-9pm. Bring at least 5 fashionable, gently used, quality items you no longer want between the hours of 4:30 & 6pm which may include clothes, shoes, accessories, hair products, polishes and more. Starting at 6pm you will participate in a bartering system, swapping the items you no longer want with new things that you totally love. This fun event will take place at the SAS Sky Lounge and the entry for the event is only $5. Talk about a fun way to enjoy your weekend.

Or what about a Sunday Funday at the Ivy Buckhead for $15? Check this out ladies, enjoy football  aka (mix and mingle session with some guys), food, free drinks (while supplies lasts) and drink specials, fall themed games, and an auction of sports tickets, gift cards and more.  Staring at 12:30 pm and ending at 6pm, your Sunday Funday plans are set.

As always I am an advocate for fun and hard work but it all needs to be balanced with some quality time with the Father. I recommend Free Chapel, located in Gainesville, GA however they have a live stream you can enjoy from anywhere. If Free Chapel does not interest you, YouTube some sermons, visit your local church, or tune into a pastor on TV, just make sure you GET IT IN!
